10mm Bellcast beads also known as drip beads are designed for function and speed on all external rendering applications. Discreet but strong, all beading gives a perfect finish to through colour render and is equally suitable for sand and cement.

    Description

    It is important to use the bellcast bead and not a stop bead, as the angle it creates stops water from running back towards the wall underneath the bead. Using a bellcast bead in the correct place prevents damp getting into the render and can stop render cracking.

    Application:ย  Designed to provide a stop to the render just above the damp proof course and above reveals to produce a straight edge, provide protection against impact and deflect rain water.ย  Can also be used as an architectural feature at each storey to provide a shadow.

    Performance: Plastic bellcast beads / drip beads offer a value for money alternative to stainless steel beads because they are made from cost-effective recycled exterior grade.

    Storage, cutting and fixing: PVCu beading is fast and easy to cut to length with tin snips or a fine toothed hacksaw and is safer to handle than cut metal.ย  Fixing is no different from steel beads and standard industry practice can be followed.ย  Store vertically away from heat and direct sun, or flat if supported along the entire length.
