    Thank you for your question. To confirm this product is not suitable to line a fireplace.
    2. Can you plaster skim this board or would i need to use a plasterboard on top.

    Boards should be primed with Magply Super Penetration Primer applied by roller. As long as you follow manufacturers' instructions, they can be skimmed.
