How to fix metal U track?

1. Mark the run.

3. Screw the vertical C-studs into the track or snap them in, keeping them vertical. Note that in many systems, the studs are left free in the top track to allow for ceiling deflection.
4. Next, fix the plasterboard to the stud frame, tape and joint the boards.
