What is Kooltherm K112?
The core of the Kingspan K112 is made of rigid phenolic foam. The rigid phenolic foam is moisture-resistant and does not degrade when installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidance. Because it is a rigid, single-piece panel, K112 remains stable over time without settling or sagging when properly installed.
Both sides of the board have a low-emissivity composite foil facing bonded to the core, which reduces heat loss when installed in a wall assembly.
The panels’ thermal conductivity (λ-value) is just 0.019 W/m·K – a very low value for rigid insulation boards.
It comes in a variety of thicknesses – from 25mm to 150mm. Choose the thickness required to meet your target U-value.
