EPS Insulation

EPS (Expanded PolyStyrene) is a white foam plastic substance made from solid polystyrene beads. EPS is a lightweight material with good thermal conductivity, low moisture absorption, and excellent cushioning.

Applications of Expanded Polystyrene

All exposed edges of the Jablite should be wrapped in an insulation strip and tightly butted against the perimeter walls. In screed or particleboard overlay, an expansion gap may be required around the perimeter of the floor finish. The most popular uses are beneath a concrete slab with con
crete poured on top, or as a walkway board with chipboard laminated to the EPS 70. The insulation boards are incredibly simple to install and come in a variety of grades and sizes such as EPS70, EPS100 and EPS150  to meet your specific needs. Jablite EPS is extremely adaptable and may be used in a variety of applications, including roofs, walls, and floors.

Benefits of Expanded Polystyrene

The expanded polystyrene material is adaptable, light in weight, easy to handle, and it offers a cost-effective way to include permanent insulation in floors, walls, and roofs to meet and surpass Building
Regulations standards. The boards have little nutritional value, which means they won’t attract insects or vermin and won’t support mould growth. Depending on the use, the material is relatively durable and flexible, offering excellent thermal insulation in compliance with the values set by applicable regulations.
