Superglass Superwall 32

Superglass Superwall 32 is a glass mineral wool cavity-wall insulation batt made for buildings where wall insulation must be precise and long-lasting. The batt is fitted inside cavity walls, providing long-term thermal performance.

What is Superwall 32?

Superwall 32 is a type of thermal insulation used in the cavities of external walls. It is flexible, so it can be fitted between the wall leaves and held in place by friction.

It has a declared thermal conductivity (λ) of 0.032 W/m.K, providing excellent resistance to heat flow for mineral wool cavity insulation.

What is Superglass 32 cavity insulation used for?

Superwall 32 insulation goes in the gap (cavity) between the two skins of a masonry wall to:

• Reduce heat transmission through walls.
• Keep interiors warm or cool depending on the weather.
• Make buildings more energy-efficient.

It can be used for both full-fill (fill the whole cavity) or partial-fill (only part of it) cavity-wall applications in new builds. Full-fill applications are subject to height and exposure limits under UK regulations, while partial-fill systems are generally permitted at greater heights when correctly detailed.
