Knauf Fire Panel elevates the fire resistance of a plasterboard. The additives in Knauf Fire Panel make it an ideal board for use in Knauf Performer partitions lining escape routes, Knauf Shaftwall, Knauf MF ceilings systems or anywhere where more stringent fire performance is required.
Easily identifiable by the pink paper face, the boards can be finished with ready-mixed finishes, traditional plaster or direct decoration. Use with the full Knauf metal, jointing and fixing range, to ensure performance.
When used as part of a Knauf system, Fire Panel will give up to 120 minutes of fire protection. This performance is fully tested and backed with a Knauf System Performance Warranty, providing warranties for the building and peace of mind for the client.
Compliance (to BS EN 520 Classification): Type A & F
Reaction to fire: The National Classification is “Limited combustibility” but the European Classification is rated as “A2”.

Application
The enhanced fire resistance of the board makes it ideal for use in commercial spaces like offices and shopping centres. It is also suited to housing, for example in kitchens, and new build garages.
The board should be installed using Knauf Drywall Screws and finished using the full range of Knauf jointing and finishing products include Knauf Airless Finishes.
Fire Panel can be recycled with other gypsum products.
