  • Description

    The higher the mass of soundproof plasterboard, the greater the noise reduction. It comes in thicknesses in either 12.5mm or 15mm. Acoustic alternatives to standard plasterboard have proven successful at reducing varying levels of noise, but it is particularly impactful if the plasterboard is reinforced with other materials like fibreglass. The combination of materials improve the board’s ability to absorb sound.

      The data sheet only provides density per kg/m3. Density would be ≥ 800.
